FD: Sonia, as a VP of the brand, please explain to us: the Sanctuary woman has been defined as a gypsetter, go-getter, globe-trotter. Bringing it down to Earth, what’s she wearing on a busy afternoon? Where is she headed?

FD: You’ve been recognized as a ‘Woman of Influence’ for your contributions to fashion. How does that play out in your role with Sanctuary?
SZ: I grew up in the business, so I grasp that Sanctuary speaks to women like myself. We are looking for a brand that can address several aspects of our lives. Say, I can find my core wardrobe essentials and then some flirty and fun styles to go out.
FD: You’ve done it all. You’re a mother, life coach, active socially and philanthropically, and a sharp business woman, helping brands reach new audiences in North America. Tell us the secret!
SZ: Ha! The million dollar question. It’s all about balance and prioritizing properly. I carve out time for my family first and foremost, then it’s just finding a schedule and support team!
FD: Sounds straightforward. Now, what is in the works for the future of Sanctuary? And, of course, yourself.
SZ: Sanctuary is constantly evolving, as the needs of our customers change. We still have the perfect pants, and now have become a celebrity favorite!
